    Re: DONALD TRUMP

    i'm half and half

my gut says he won't run, cause it's a money loser for him

my other half says, hate motivates, and man is he in a world of hate

imho, if he ran, he'd destroy others in a debate, he's not afraid one bit to answer any question about anything

his general premise is, everyone is screwing us, well, i'm sure that polls above 70%, and alot of his stuff is just, fck politics, it's just common sense

so, i'm a coin flip, and i've contemplated it quite a bit

Have to admire him for being himself and being completely spontaneous. You never get the idea that Trump is being phony. He can be a real bastard, but at least he keeps it real.
Unfortunately, Black people will probably never be able to accept the idea of a white president ever again. If a white person ever gets elected President over a black person, there will be riots

Good point. That's why eventually when the population in the U.S. is majority Black and Hispanic the days of a white president are over. At that time socialism will already be implemented.

As for Trump. I could see him running as an Independent like Ross Perot. He would probably pull more votes that Perot did too. In this case, it would probably help Obama because the voters for Trump would come from those who would have voted for a Republican.

I dont agree with the black people thing cause i have seen prominent black people speak out about Obama. I watched a thing on Trump recently that followed him around for a day or so to see how he goes about his business. The guy is one of the most organized and driven people I have ever seen, its almost unreal how he gets so much done. While it may be a weird thought to have the Donald as the president, the guy would at least seriously try and get stuff done and IMO clean house. There is so much foot-dragging going on in politics its disgusting. Trump would be on peoples azzes to get stuff done for sure and would seriously hold people accountable and call them out. The guy knows how to run a business and make money and thats really what we need now anyway; become more efficient in nearly every aspect of the economy and make money ie decrease debt. Black people, as well as people of all races will back him for the same reasons some people were excited about Obama, they thought things were gonna seriously get done. The diff is Trump has an actual track record of success.

As much as this country needs someone with some business sense, I dont think Trump is the one for us. I think he is just telling the american people what we want to hear. I really think he is just running his mouth to get people fired up and get the attention. Although he sure would be a hell of a lot better than blowjama

Blacks overwhelmingly voted for Obama. He still has over 90% support from the black vote, though it is down a bit.

As for Trump, he may try to change some things if he got elected but people like him don't get to be as rich as he is by not playing the game of politics.

I don't know why more people don't realize that Ron Paul is the one and only politician that holds true to his principles, and those of the Republican Party. Of course not the war and big spending, but that's because he's not a neoconservative, which is precisely what the majority are these days. He sticks to the view held by the founders, that of non-intervention. I am getting tired of trying to tell people about Paul though. It takes a serious understanding of history, philosophy, and politics to understand Paul. I used to not like him when I first saw heard him speak a few years back. However, as I became more interested in economics and the other subjects I mentioned above, he started to make sense to me. The very reason he is attacked and/or ignored is because he wants to fix things. The parties do not want someone who will do that. I don't know why most Americans don't understand that but I only suspect most never will. History is the easiest thing to research. You can go back and look at every president's record and see how much real change they actually brought about. But if such a person as Paul, or Trump were to get elected, they would either have to go along with the big machine or I suspect they would have a short lived presidency if you know what I mean. Going against the machine is not easy or safe. There are powerful people that make sure nobody gets into office that is going to be too strong a supporter of liberty. The person who will bring limited government is the one I want in office, but unfortunately none of the Republicans have ever limited the government, though I keep holding hope that one will. If you look at all of the presidents from FDR on, and probably earlier, you will find that every one of them has substantially increased the size of the government, the national debt, and the number of laws, regulations, and executive orders. So I ask, where are the limited government politicians? Somebody please show me one single president who limited the government, and include a source. I assure you I have researched this extensively so I can save you the time if you want, but I like people to do their homework. Not even Ronald Reagan reduced the size of government. How is it that even though limited government is the primary tenet held by conservatives, not one single Republican president has ever reduced, or maintained the size of the government in the last 100 years? This alone should be enough to convince people to stop trusting the politicians and their rhetoric that never holds true.

In 2012 I will vote for another so called conservative as in the past, but once again we will get more of the same. I don't need to hear from anyone that this time will be different either, because that is what they always say. I judge by actions not by words. I only wish more Americans would do this.

I have met a lot of people who think Obama is doing a wonderful job. Of course these people have never read a newspaper and are completely uneducated and cant tell you why he is doing a wonderful job.. Those are the people Obama is counting on to get re-elected.

I believe the only one who would truly fix this mess we're in is Ron Paul. Did you see how serious they were about the budget? They were scared to shut the government down, which has been done in the past and doesn't amount to much at all. But instead we got $358 million in tax cuts. Has anyone realized that yet? The $38 billion or whatever the number was actually worked out to be $358 million in the end, which I believe is .02% of the budget.

Fuzo I hope you realize that I do want to believe that someone will change things for the better. The problem for me is that I read a lot of history and economics, and look for the facts, nothing else, just plain old facts. There has not been any president in the last 100 years or more to do so. Thus it is difficult to believe that now things will change. But I do hope you're right, I truly do.
