Anyone else notice this at the gas pump?
The last 3 places I've gotten gas, it stops at $75. This has happened to me at 3 different gas stations, different companies too. The 1st was at an ethanol-free place I go to. I thought they did it because they were getting low or something. The few ethanol-free places aren't any of the major petro companies, so I thought they were rationing out because they've told me that it's getting harder to get the ethanol-free stuff. But, The 1 early this morning, before I had a long drive, & then again this evening, were major companies. Both stopped at $75 again.
I did not go in and ask the clerks at any of them. I've been running a little busy to walk in & chat with the store clerk...
but rationing gas!!! I have spoke to a cpl of people, but no-one has noticed it yet. Many won't. They don't have a 35 gallon tank to fill. What really gets me, if they are doing this everywhere, is why hasn't this been mentioned. Even if it's just a local thing. Why no word, article in the paper, report, nothing??? wtf?! That's a big fuggin deal! When you can't top off at the pump, that's kinda scary.
