  • Unsolicited advice

Do you guys like it when someone tries to give you advice about what they think you need to do, even though you didnt even ask for their advice?
For example: "You NEED to be reading the Bible more and you NEED to be going to church. Thats my advice."

^ I hear ya there Fuzo. I have a brother who is the same way. He acts like he is better than me because he goes to church and I dont. I hate to say it, but for him, becoming born again fundamentalist christian turned him into a total asshole...I avoid him like the plague now and its sad because we were close before he went off the deep end and turned ahole.

Or how do you like this one "LET ME GIVE YOU SOME CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM"
I swear, if someone says that to me, I will say No thanks, I dont need your criticism and i didnt ask for it"

Absolutely not!!! The worst I have experienced are golfers. Until the past 6 months, I was a golf nut and worked on my game every day at the range. It never failed that some kid would come up to me and tell me what I am doing wrong. He had no idea that I was working on something in particular and could care less what the ball was doing or what the rest of my swing was doing. I don't know how many of you know golf very well, but I was a -2.8 handicap and I would have guys giving me advice that couldn't get the ball in the air 5 out of 10 times. I would just politely tell them to go back to what they were doing, that I was working on something specific.

I get the same from church people as well. Look, the way I look at it is this:

Going to church doesn't make you a christian no more than standing in a garage makes you a car.
"He woke up because I kept punching him in the face." --Thiago Alves

"I'm telling you, once your car's been stolen, it never runs the same again. It's like a guy sleeping with your girl. He leaves his mark all over her."- Drama (Entourage)

I Usually just say "shut up stupid". Then they walk away.

NOTHING WORSE THAN SOMEONE PUSHING THEIR RELIGION ON YOU. I AM SPIRITUAL, I BELIEVE IN GOD, BUT I DONT THINK I HAVE TO BE AT CHURCH 4 TIMES A WEEK TO PROVE IT TO EVERYONE

I kinda get torked when the Jehova Witness' people come to the house. I mean Im polite and all to''em but I just feel for the kids they bring with them,..ya know kinda like the guy in the supermarket parking lot begging for change with the poor dog with'em ? I mean those people are so hyprocritical !! I believe in our lord Jesus Christ,....I just dont think people should profit off of him,..or come up with their own s#it to "bend the rules".
