    Re: Who honestly thinks

It was hard to believe he would get elected in the first place. I sure hope people are smart enough next time to vote him out. Problem is, Obama is so corrupt, it would not be out of reason to see him re-elected, illegally. There is no limit to how far this guy will go to keep his power and control

Im with DZONE- Im still amazed at how many naive american people voted him in the first place, some still argue that he is doing a decent job. Its sickening, I think we have common sense - but thats not the norm in our country- the pop culture rules- they like superficial quality everything- shallow music, empty words, so they fell for all his lies because he is a charming guy. Im scared that there is too much naive ignorance for us to overcome them.

        Precisely the way I feel.

However, even if the people are fed up of Obama, which many are, the Republicans have to run a viable candidate. If they run Newt Gingrich or Mitt Romney then you can pretty much consider Obama a two-term president.

I thought it was funny the other day how Obama complemented Mitt Romney's Romney Care in MA. That was a classic...lol. What he is doing is reminding the American people that Mitt Romney, a Republican (supposedly) implemented the same type of health care that Obama did. That alone is the reason Romney won't stand a chance at defeating Obama. But what's even funnier is that Romney has been attacking Obama care, when in fact that idiot supported the same thing in his state. This is becoming too much...lol.

As for Newt, he hasn't a chance because the media will show how immoral of a bast**d he is. He left his wife who was battling cancer for another woman he was having an affair with. But wait, it gets better, he served his wife her divorce papers at the hospital where she was being treated. Then, he left his second wife for wife 3 after she was diagnosed with MS. Both instances he was cheating on his wives. Ironically, when he served wife 2 with divorce papers he was trying to get Bill Clinton out of office for cheating on Hillary with Monica Lewinsky.

Needless to say, the Republicans better come up with some better candidates. It's a darn shame they don't want to see Paul, the only one who has been true to his principles his entire life, and supports the Republican platform founding principles.

Regardless of Paul though they really need to find someone clean and presidential. I would think Christy of NJ or Jindal of LA would realize this golden opportunity to become president, but it sounds like they aren't interested. Maybe they know you have to sell your soul to become president and aren't interested. But the bottom line is that Obama would be fairly easy to beat with a good candidate. It's just unfortunate that there aren't any good candidates currently.

I agree with everyone above! Why does it not surprise me that no one on this forum has come forward and supported blojama? Hmmm maybe that says something about this country? Maybe people realize what a big mistake it was to elect this corrupt piece of dung?

I know what you mean about Newt, and some people will overlook this. However, the media will go rampant with these facts about him, which would scare off many of the voters who have strong morals. Newt could out debate Obama in a heartbeat but I really don't think he stands a chance. Charles Kraughthammer listed the top 5 potentials the other day and Newt wasn't even on the list. Now that is coming from Charles, who is considered one of the most respected conservative writers in the country. I think it's going to be someone we least expect. I don't think Huckabee will want to give up his show, and Romney has destroyed his own chances with his Romney Care. Heck, maybe it will be Trump...lol. Who knows these days.

I would vote for Rick Perry for president, but he is going to be our president when Texas secedes.

Funny you mention him. I had mentioned a while back that he should consider running. I saw an interview with him and he was asked about it, but said he hadn't really thought it over seriously yet, or something like that. I'm not up on your state and what all he has done but I can only imagine he would be better than the present contenders other than Ron Paul (also from TX). But if TX secedes I'm moving there.

It depends. I know that's a sucky answer to start but lets look at how he got elected in the first place. There was a perfect storm of negative financial news (not the fault of repubs or dems in general) and this upset the voters enough to elcect his socialist knucklehead. SOOOO... could he be elected again? Given the right political spin and enviorment, yes. Is it likely... No!
