I'm sorry to hear that. Hope all goes well with her chemo treatments. My prayers will include you both.

She has been able to get out of bed and sit in a chair for spells, and she is able to walk a bit. I was able to take a lap with her in the hallways earlier, and that was nice. Plus she has color back in her skin and her eyes are brighter. She has a lot of support and real good doctors, so it is all in God's hands.

I also realized I gotta be stong and not be a jabronie, as I spent too much time earlier this week getting drunk and eating like chit. So, Thursday I woke up and said "GAME ON!" Hit the gym hard the last few days, and stopped putting the crap and booze down my throat. I realize I'm gonna have my weak moments, but when I see her I wanna have a big smile on my face and be as positive as I can. And man, hitting the gym feels good! I'm tired as hell, but for the right reasons!

            Hi Baby,

As it now looks, she will be in the hospital until sometime next week, then she will prolly go to a rehab center. I'm not sure when they will exactly be starting the chemo, as she has to have some things clear up first. But I know they have a top of the line chemo specilaist on speed dial, so as soon as she's ready I'm sure she'll be going asap. I'll keep yaz posted!

            Thansk again, my friends.
Good to hear!! A positive attitude works wonders although I know it still gets very hard at times.

Latest update...looks like she will be outa the hospital on Wed, and going to a rehab facility for a min. of 5 days. She's been upgraded to some "real" food, has had the tube removed from her stomach, and is having regular bowel movements. And she is able to text a bit and go for short walks. I'll report in as I have more info, and thanks for all your kindness and prayers.

                          Hey Rocco,

Broh, thanks for posting, and it makes me sad to hear about your situation with your wife. I guess we both know life can throw ya some curves when yer looking for that fastball down the middle of the plate. I'll keep you in my prayers as well, and we'll all pull through.

As far as the gym goes, broh, it keeps me away from bad thoughs, and poisoning my body with excessive alcohol and junk food. I have a somewhat addictive personality, and being "addicted" to working out get me through. I was 250+ lbs when I met my girl, and she loved me for who I was, but I didn't love myself. I'm still a long ways away from being a body builder type like I want to be, but knocking off 70 lbs has been really good for me. I myself had some medical issues in the recent past that slacked me into gaining back some of the weight, but now I'm back to htting it hard and trying not to look back. So, I guess that is my long answer as to why I still "need" to work out through this.

Thanks again to all my brothers and sisters here for your well wishes and prayers.

                          Love yas!

Welp, things took a turn for the worse...turns out her colon seperated where they orig shortened it, and it was leaking chit into her insides...had to rush her back to the ER and do emergency surgery Thurs night. It looked pretty bad, but they patched her up and now she's in intensive care all drugged up and looking pretty bad. I went down to see her today, and it was real tough to deal with. Oh well, at least she's still alive.
