my goodness! They get worse every year. I had very slight allergy symptoms as a child. Once I hit, around, 20yrs old, they kicked in bad, and have gotten worse every year.
Things started blooming pretty heavily over the last week, and it is workin my ass over. From head-to-toe. literally. My skin itches to the point of scratching it raw. and that's all over. Seems to be the worse in the more sensitive areas. e.g. back, upper-legs, tops of feet even...scalp...but it is all over. I don't even want to wear shorts because of how bad I've scratched my legs up with my jeans, not realizing it.
I can walk out to the truck to get my business folder, 30seconds, and by the time I'm back at my desk, my eyes will be on fire, itching/burning, from the pollen.
My nose is staying clogged up...it's just getting so bad! Annoying as hell.
I've, probably, tried every allergy med available. Zyrtec has been the best for me. It does help, but it's far from complete relief. It does help with the itchy, watery eyes, but the skin & sinuses it hardly seems to help with.
I don't hang my clothes outside to dry. sheesh...I itch just thinking about that. I keep my filters changed in my A/C. I just have developed some serious allergy issues over the years.
Anybody else deal with allergies? Any remedies, or more up-to-date meds that work great that I might try?
Claritin...(drawing a blank)...point is, I've tried them all. I stopped on Zyrtec when it was prescription only because it worked the best. Now that it's OTC, I still go with it because people still rep Claritin so hard, and it never seemed to work so well with me.
