  • Belt question...

Is their any correlation between the holes in a belt and pant size? What I mean is, if you move from say the first hole of a belt to the second, is that like dropping a pant size? Or would moving from the first hole to the third hole be dropping a pant size? I have never really heard anyone say.

I don't think there is a national belt standard lol. Most holes are about an inch apart though, so if you are wearing the same thickness pants and dropped down a hole you lost an inch off your waist.

that's awesome. But it would be thrown off cause like my belts they stretch over time. But since you was larger and have went down yes you could use that for a measuring device. Keep up the hard work man!

take a tape measure and measure from the hole to the buckle. that should about match your waist measurement...There comes a time when you have to give and just buy a new belt...I had to buy dress pants once with the hidden elastic in the waist..LOL

I'm a tight wad. When my belts get too big I punch new holes in them lol.

                        Re: Belt question...

Usually the center hole is the size of the belt you bought, ie: 36" would be the center hole. Each hole would be about an inch larger or smaller depending on the way you moved.
Push it, Pull it, Rack it. Repeat untill wide!!

Take nothing I say as serious, What do I know, I sell water!!
