Is their any correlation between the holes in a belt and pant size? What I mean is, if you move from say the first hole of a belt to the second, is that like dropping a pant size? Or would moving from the first hole to the third hole be dropping a pant size? I have never really heard anyone say.

I don't think there is a national belt standard lol. Most holes are about an inch apart though, so if you are wearing the same thickness pants and dropped down a hole you lost an inch off your waist.They call you paranoid until the worst happens, and in the aftermath they will call you a hero. -

that's awesome. But it would be thrown off cause like my belts they stretch over time. But since you was larger and have went down yes you could use that for a measuring device. Keep up the hard work man!Comment

take a tape measure and measure from the hole to the buckle. that should about match your waist measurement...There comes a time when you have to give and just buy a new belt...I had to buy dress pants once with the hidden elastic in the waist..LOLComment

Usually the center hole is the size of the belt you bought, ie: 36" would be the center hole. Each hole would be about an inch larger or smaller depending on the way you moved.Push it, Pull it, Rack it. Repeat untill wide!!
