OOOPS...He Did It Again!
About two weeks ago, "Wanna-B-Bodybuilder" approached me and began telling me about how he joined a gym out in Woodland Hills, CA. It was once a Gold's Gym but now Woodland Hills Athletic Club. He proceed to telling me about the guy who runs the gym and works in the ProShop name, Samir. I stopped him and asked, "Not Bannout?"
"Yeah, you know him?"
"Know him? He's my freaking idol. He's 1983 Mr. Olympia."
So he continues telling me how cool the guy is and how he's talked to him alot.
A couple of days later, he claims that he's spoken to Bannout and suggested to him that he's interested in trying "roids" and wanted to know the best ones to do. Then he said that Bannout "hooked him up" with something just as good. (In other words, pro-steroids/pro-hormones sold OTC.) I could have died. I replied, "How long have you known him, bro?"
"About two weeks, why?"
"So let me see if I got this right...You've known a very important and famous guy for a couple of weeks. He's a former Mr. Olympia who, most likely, have to keep a respectable profile to the public. You have no idea whether or not if he's an off duty cop nor does he know whether or not you're one. And YOU ASKED HIM ABOUT A PARTICULAR DRUG THAT IS ILLEGAL IF SOLD WITHOUT A PRESCRIPTION? Do I have it right so far?"
All he could do was smile and STFU.
I joked with another co-worker about that and he explained, "Keep in mind who said that. Everybody knows how much he's a compulsive liar and he probably thought that he was impressing you or even trying to get you jealous."
I told him, "But instead and as usual, I made him look and probably feel STUPID again."
"Yeah, you know him?"
