Well, I paid off two cards at the end of last year. I have my one big card to go and I want it gone as soon as possible. So, I went out and got me a part time job to work after my normal job. I don't know when I start yet, but I have to go back tomorrow at lunch and fill out the paperwork. I will be working at Dick's in the golf department (I'm a golf nut anyway) so it shouldn't be too bad. Combine this with a watchful eye on our spending and we will be debt free (besides the house) in no time!!!

congrats man. I am taking a leap your way this year. I am working on being essentially debt free by june. I have to carry my truck loan that long so i can have the payment history on it.

It will be worth it in the end. Being debt free is a great feeling.They call you paranoid until the worst happens, and in the aftermath they will call you a hero.Comment

Well, I started the 2nd job this week. OMG, it is the most boring job I have ever had in my life. We hardly ever have any customers, no one even browses the area so there is nothing to straighten up or clean, etc... The last 2 nights I have been there we have done nothing but watch tv (which was broken last night) and hit golf balls in the hitting bay. While that sounds like easy money (and it is) I can't stand to just sit around and do nothing. I can see this getting old pretty quick. well, your golf swing will be much improved...Ive had those kinds of jobs before. Luckily it was in a mall and I was a young college student so I spent most of the time on the job picking up chicks...I think I got fired a few timesComment
