  • North Korea

Well north Korea shelled south Korea today. The south is saying if it happens again they will retaliate full force. We have about 39,000 troops in the south. I hope this doesn't turn into a war because we will be involved. I really don't want to be reactivated at Christmas time.
They call you paranoid until the worst happens, and in the aftermath they will call you a hero.

      I hope not either rc.
N Korea. Another place that needs the wrath of what they think they're working on. No loss of American life. Just a couple of big "BOOMS". A large lesson learned, and America get's her brass balls back in place.

What do you mean "what they think they're working on?" If you are referring to Nukes then you are off here because they have them already.

I served a year in South Korea and I can tell you this much, you don't want a war to break out there. We don't need to be involved in any more wars. North Korea is no joke, they have enough artillery aiming at Seoul to kill over a million people in the first few hours of batter, and those are the words of the 3 star LT General that was in command there when I was stationed there back in 02. A war in Korea would be Vietnam all over again and possibly worse. We would lose most every soldier we have there. So for the sake of our soldiers safety, let's hope nothing comes of it.

I do not condone the use of, nor do I use anabolic or androgenic steroids. My participation on these boards is for informational purposes only. I have done extensive research of AAS and enjoy discussing them for role playing enjoyment.

God no. Of course I hope nothing breaks out, but because of rc"s statement about getting deployed, that's my thoughts on deploying 1 damn American soldier. **** that. I agree with you Js. I figured you figured this much. I don't doubt for a second that N Korea has nukes too. The reason I said that, is because we must stick our diks in everything that goes on. Seems to be our foreign policy. If it stinks and is happening somewhere, anywhere...let's get over there and fuk with it. So if we just gotta, like we do, we should just nuke them. Lots of life lost. Lots of feelings hurt. Lots of this and that. Get our men and women out of the way so we don't loose 1 drop of American blood. pipedreamin...just a blabberin post that was. But, it'd be better than the diplomatic bullshit that's worked so well over the last..how freakin long?..the ole diplomatic dumb dance with lil Kim...such bs

This Movie is a MUST SEE..It will blow your mind. Rent the video. It really shows what life is like in N. Korea...its freaky.

Gordon's camera is ever-present in the girls' lives, watching their training, going into their homes and classrooms where communist and anti-American propaganda is pumped into their young impressionable minds almost non-stop.

My view on war has become more liberal as of the last few years. It would take a long conversation with me in person to explain my reasoning so I will just leave it at that. But believe me, I have seen enough real world crap to give me peace with my view. Perhaps not the same view some other soldiers have but I have my reasons. Unless we are directly in danger then I see no need for war, and in the case with Korea, we are not directly threatened or in danger. But of course, if something breaks out, we will be there 100% backing the south.

JS. I'm not pro war. I've never even served in the military. The only one in a few generations of immediate family on my father's side. But, this is a conversation that would be better over a 12pak. I am not pro war though. I am not with interventionalism. (Stickin our diks where it doesn't belong.) Which is our government's forte. Nobody likes us. We hand out trillions to the haters...it doesn't make a shit. They hate us. I don't give a shit. Why should we? The answer is completely political. bullshit. But, that's part of our neo-nosey, "humanitarian", "we give a shit", bullshit. And at the root of that shit tree is the whole politically-correct mumbo-jumbo. And it's gotten jumbo! Uck that. Uck them. We have the power to keep our country safe without going over seas. I'm for our safety. And I'm not so sure that we're safer all spread about the globe of America haters. We could keep our waters safe, and man our damn borders as they should be, and then, I believe, our wheels would grab. Instead of all the spinnin that's gone on for yrs. But, we can't do that.
This country could be completely self reliant.

I know what you meant horsepwr and I know your stance on war. It took me a lot of serious reading to finally come to my senses about wars. I have to give credit to Mises.org, lewrockwell.com, and Ron Paul for helping me to see the light. It helps to learn from those who believe in liberty and our Constitution, and who hold a profession in history and/or economics. For years I wouldn't hear any of the anti-war talk because it seem like it only stemmed from left wing nut jobs which I despise and refuse to even hold a conversation with. But when I found the Libertarian Party, mainly those of the Austrian School of Economics, it became clear to me that there are plenty of level-headed, creditable experts to hear out on the subject. What also helps is that the Austrian School does not have anything in common with the left wing nut jobs. The real eye opener for me has been that those who typically rant about the wars are merely paid protesters that have a political interest that motivates them. Conversely, the Austrian Economists and the level-headed Libertarians (some are a bit extreme) have no bias in politics with regard to wars, and merely stand strong in their belief of a non-interventionist policy. The left wing nut jobs have proved their hypocrisy in the fact that they have given Obama a pass on the war, thus they could not care less if we are in a war, they just hate Republicans. Where is Code Pink and all the other wackos now? We don't hear a peep from them because their nut job is in office. My advice to anyone who is a supporter of all the interventionist wars we're involved in is to go and read up on the subject from an Austrian or Libertarian perspective, such as Ron Paul. If nothing else it would give them a different perspective to consider. The right has done a pretty good job of convincing Americans that we need to be in war indefinitely. I attribute their success to the fact that many Americans are closed minded. They believe everything the news tells them so long as it is a station they trust. This also bleeds over to other aspects of our lives. For example, as long as Fox or CNN tells people the TSA should scan us with potentially cancer causing x-rays, and that our 4th amendment rights should be given up to protect us from terrorists, then the sheeple simply comply and claim patriotism as the reason for doing so. But the true patriots are the ones who stand up to this madness and demand their rights to not be violated. That is where I stand. It seems far too convenient that each time a terrorist almost gets away with an attack we just so happen to lose more of our rights. I suppose once a terrorist sneaks on a plane with explosives in his rectum we will have to get rectum searches. I guess I jumped off topic a little bit in my last couple replies but it all goes together in my mind. War = loss of freedom and loss of life. A war with Korea would mean a huge loss of life and I imagine more rights lost too.

I read this yesterday, Js. I'm just revisiting it because I wanted to reiterate your statement about people giving up their rights under the premise of "security". That's also why I posted those links in the other thread. If Americans were rallied in the name of our Republic, rights, and what made us the greatest super-power on the planet, we don't need no damn scanners and fatasses grabbing folks nuts, messing with infants, and lezbos violating our wives, mothers, and daughters. Uck that bullshit! We can damn well keep ourselves safe. Even up in the sky. As the fellow did to that underwear bomber, and those true heros that took back charge of that flight that ended in a rural area instead of into the U.S. Capital, White House or where-ever the terrorist were planning. Yeah, it sucks it got that far, but hey. Credit that to the politically-correct bs era that Abe began, and has flipped America's values upside down.
If it quacks like a duck, and walks like a duck. You could once go ahead and label it what it is. A frik'n duck. But now-days. If it walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck. Whoa now...hold up before you go calling it anything. ridiculous.

I looked this quote up because I wanted to get it right.
"You cannot invade the mainland United States. There would be a rifle behind every blade of grass." That's a quote by Isoroku Yamamoto, Commander-in-Chief of the Imperial Japanese Navy during World War II.
Wise words. Should have some wisdom. I just learned that Isoroku Yamamoto was a Harvard University student. mm...that Harvard has attracted, and educated, some real characters.
