It's been several weeks. 4 exactly, since I've shot my favorite rifle. She's only been out twice since puting a red-dot scope on 'er. It's sighted in at close range. (50yds). Well, somewhat sighted in. I want to have it grouping as snug as possible out to 100meters. Why didn't I go ahead and sight it? I really need to grab a gun-vice instead of just useing a prop to stabilize the fore-end. And I need to take a larger piece of wood and targets to see where it's hitting, rather than the little targets I usually use.
But damn, am I ever itchin to go pop some 7.62s down-range!
It would be nice if I could co-witness the iron sights. or at least use them under the scope mount, but use of them is eliminated by the scope rail blocking view.
