    THIS IS UNREAL!

    The Cajun Duck Blind.

Were many beers consumed building this rascal?

    Louisiana (of course)

    3 stories-
1st level hides 4 boats underneath and has room for 2
hunters and has 2 dog doors.

2nd level has a full kitchen with fridge, 2 stoves, electricity for lights, living room with 2 couches and satellite TV, theater seats around the "porch of the blind" to sit 14 guys comfortably. A side porch has a running toilet, a stainless steel grill for cooking whole rib-eyes for lunch and a bar to make all the Mojos and margarita machine which are hard wired to car batteries.

3rd level is the "crows nest" with room for 3. It's about 25' up in the trees and most of the time you are shooting down on the ducks.

The food scraps we throw out draw a lot of ducks and make the fishing good too.

Thats a nice duck blind. Its built high enough up so it won't flood at high tide. The marsh doesn't flood like a river since it empties to the Gulf. Only a hurricane would flood it.

wow. i can say it would be comfortable but to call those guys hunters is a stretch. a REAL hunter actually actively hunts.

guys who sit in blinds for ducks, deer ect are not hunters they are gatherers. they wait for an animal to come to them by baiting or calling or just useing the animals normal migratory patterns.

i dont hunt anymore but i remember sliding through the freezing mud on my belly for 100 yard with my shotgun to get a shot at a duck.

i sure wouldnt mind going to that blind and having a party

That was my thought. That's a nice little getaway in the swamp. TV, kitchen, fridge, toilet even!..Ya have allot of game to go for in those swamps too. Shoot birds and ground critters...wet a line... Then you can watch the game while enjoying the finest Margaritas.

Do the fish out of the swamp have that shallow water, "mirky" taste?
And, what is there besides Gar & Gators? Are there shellcracker?, crappy, ****?

                        Re: CAJUN HUNTING BLIND

We hunted one in Arkansas one time, no where near what's in the pictures and it had a small kitchen in the back and one of the guides made us breakfast in the blind. Pretty cool setting out decoy's and smelling bacon frying at the same time.

It's cold during duck season. The snakes are sleeping.
