As some of you may know, I've been working rescuing dogs and puppies from kill shelters in the south. Recently the director of a shelter we've been working with was forced to resign and now the shelter won't allow us to do any more rescues. We had homes for some of the puppies and instead of letting us take them they refused and are killing them instead. We've been putting some pressure on them, some of it's helping but this shelter won't budge. We've gotten other shelters in the area to refuse to give that shelter any more business. But we still need to be able to get in there and rescue the puppies that they take in. If you could take a minute to call and ask them why they won't let rescues in it would be great.

That is terrible! It is so sad what is done to animals. If anyone wants a pet, check out the shelters first.
