This guy was at the gym today, rolling around on the ground screaming. His shoulder was completely yanked out of the socket. No mobility whatsoever. He was in tears. I Had him lie on his back. I put my foot in his armpit and gave his arm a yank and "POP!!!!"..The dude got up flinging his arm all over the place with no more pain. Weird. I can honestly say I have never before put someones shoulder back in the socket like that. He told me his shoulder pops out of the socket all the time like that. Too crazy.

Re: Anyone ever put someones shoulder back in place?
Nope but I had it done to me in high school football. Very, very painful!!"He woke up because I kept punching him in the face." --Thiago Alves

Wow, that guy was lucky that you were there. That actually sounds kind of gross! You think he would do something about that since it happens all of the time. Good job Dzone!Veritas Vos Liberabit

Good job dzone . I bet that hurt big time for the dude.I'm sure he would probably be a littlr sore and not go right back to working out or did he dzone. The only time something ever popped out of socket on me was my thumb.I was at work at the airlines and we had to fill the planes up with water and roll the hose back up and the hose got tangled and I had to push the hose with my thumb because it got stuck and I pushed so hard with my thumg that the thumb joint went back into the socket. It liked popped out and went in and I had to pull the thumb back out and when I did that it hurt so bad I almost passed out. I got so lite headed and had to get down on one knee and rest. After that I had to wear this dumb ass braceDisclaimer: Steroid use is illegal in a vast number of countries around the world. This is not without reason. Re: Anyone ever put someones shoulder back in place?
I told the guy he needed to get to the emergency room. He said there is no way that he could afford that and that he needed to get to work as a construction worker. He pleaded with me to pop it back in. He was about 24 y/o. It was the strangest thing. Ive never seen someone in so much pain get INstant relief with a POP! stuck my foot in his armpit and yanked on it..LOL

Re: Anyone ever put someones shoulder back in place?
Originally posted by tn94z View PostWhen that happened to me, it was the worst pain I had dealt with. Even worse than when I broke my ankle. And the pain got even harder to take as the coach was pulling it to pop it back in place. I thought I was going to pass out. Once it was back in, it was sore but not pain (actually felt weak, like it could happen again very easily....but that may have just been me worrying). I actually went back in the game on the next series (had no choice, I was the only QB). It is quite surprising how the pain subsides so quickly.
It wasnt any big deal. I mean, I am not bragging, i just did it like on this 60 second army video. Just in case anyone ever needs to do this:

The only reason is because it was my left arm and I am right handed. If it had been my throwing arm, I couldn't have done anything because it had that weak feeling like I talked about. And I would have never heard the end of it from my coach had I not gone back in."He woke up because I kept punching him in the face." --Thiago Alves
