had an interview today...i'm 90% sure on this one. its only a salesman position but its a very aggressive floor with good traffic and i'm pretty confident that i could payley it into a management position pretty quick......now, for the problem...its....its at......a kia store!!!! yes...a kia store!!! i feel dirty just for concidering it, but i dont have alot of options. these guys are really pulling out the stops to get me there. they gave me a higher percentage commision...i can work whatever hours i want and i get any computer generated leads i want.... (kia....ugggg)

imho, i've watched hyndai and kia for 15 years hear in big d, we have an aggressive dealer, u can't deny both of these companies quality has risen exponentially, if i remember correctly both were first with 100k warranties, i'm sure as a big engine muscle car guy it's tough, yet, sales is sales man, might be right place right time for a long timeComment

yea...they've come a LOOONG way!! they were like the yugo...totally diposable. i remember you could buy their starter car for 3900 bucks, lol. we used to joke that it would cost you more for and oil change than a payment, lol...its not that i dont believe that they are a decent ride, (if i didnt believe, somewhat, in the product i really couldnt sell it...thats just me), its just....i mean, KIA!!! COME ON!!!! lol....i hate foriegn....i feel dirty just thinking about it. i'm not excited about the idea of helping koreans out. atleast selling ford i new i was helping my own...DAMN DOMESTIC DEALERS!!! WHEN WILL YOU STOP HURTING YOURSELVES??? lol....i guess i can concentrate on switching people to used!! they have a good usedcar dept!! yea...thats it!! i can DESTROY FROM WITHIN!!! aw man!! thats awsome!! i'll switch everyone to a used domestic, thus driving up used domestic values and destroying the foriegn automaker in the process...I'M A GENIOUS!!!! Do whatcha gotta do D. Get your mind right... as trip stated, Kia has a presence on the and having them on the road generally doesnt offend me (I freak out when offered a kia rental, yes...but that is likely my personal issues, lol). Those Koreans also dig us - having had an excellent vacation there...very cool country/people/culture imho. Best of luck!Comment
