Okay, it is now about 6 weeks into school, and I am struggling a little to get my daughter to go. I know she likes school, but she is dragging her butt in the morning. She says "I don't want to go to school" and I respond "school is not an option". Thi is one battle that she won't ever win, but it gets draining. I am hoping she is just still in the adjustment stage.

We had it too with ours. Now that she's made some new friends, she's much better.1 up

If she typically likes school, maybe there is something going on at school bringing her down. maybe a disagreement with friends, teachers, boys...Comment

Sounds like there is something going on that is making her dread it. Maybe if she doesn't open up to you, a teacher or one of her friends might be able to give you some insight.Comment
