How about them getting caught on tv smoking pot and drinking beer on there lunch break. Talk about getting caught on tape.If the union is a good union then they will be able to save there jobs even if they have to do a drug and alcohol rehab stay or a out patient.I think its no big deal because they were on there lunch break but then they have to go back to work and work on heavy machinery and moving parts.They all probably having been doing this for years but theres always a possibilty they could of got hurt

That's basically it. A lunch break is just that, but then when they come back they're a liability. Unions suck though.

Not safe and not smart. My company would fire any of us if ever caught doing such. There would be no warnings.

I'm no fan of unions anyway but this sure makes me care even less for them, if that's possible.

i am not a fan of unions either. they are only good for the worker. they hurt the consumer and the corporation who have to pay people more than they are worth and find it hard to fire below average employees.

get rid of the union and guess what........prices go down and quality goes up. I was a teamster for 3 years and i saw how employees abused the power the union gave them

Delta needs a better drug program. They lost my bags both times I flew with them. Won't make that mistake a 3rd time.

GOOD! assholes like that are one facet of chryslers problems. that and other than a 2 cars the rest of what they make are not attractive or quality. (no offense to chrysler owners but facts is facts although the attractiveness is subjective) and dodge trucks are nice IMO

I refuse to purchase GM or Chrysler products. Its Ford for me, since they didn't take bailout money from the government. However, I still prefer to buy non-union with the exception of trucks. Sorry to the union people on here, I do understand you have to make a living too. My family are all in unions so I understand a good deal about them, and let's just say I get sick sitting at the table for dinner when the topic comes up. My stepfather is such a die-hard union supporter that all of his common since has gone out the window. I can't have a reasonable conversation with him. Its always the same bs, if there weren't unions we wouldn't have anything, and work wouldn't get done properly, blah, blah, blah. It really amazes me how some people can not see the destructive characteristics of the unions. "Workers of the World Unite" should say it all. That particular union motto originated from Communism. Everything about a union is socialist, but those who support them ignore this fact and dispute it, with no sensible argument of course. However, there are those who work in unions because it comes with the job, and to those I fully understand their situation. One of my best friends is a conservative Republican who works in a union. But he does not join it or pay the dues out of principle, which is very respectable in my opinion. He gets crap from the other guys but they realize he is never going to join so they take it easy on him, since he is a damn good worker and friendly as can be.

Those who defend unions have serious doubts in the private sector. I have never been in a union, while working in a career field that is dominated by unions, and I have always made a good living. Then they will argue that the free market doesn't work, but what they don't understand apparently is that we don't have a free market, we have a severely government regulated market. The government is what causes the problems in the private sector, and unions operate the same as governments. Both have a large amount of non-productive employees that are nearly impossible to fire.

i'm anti union in a union state, lol....we got unions for everything and everbody up here. my daughter was in cheerleading when she was 11 and didnt like that they wouldnt let her on top of the pyramid so she told the coach she's "going on strike", lol...i laffed at that moment but then pointed out to my daughter how there was 11 girls sitting on the sidelines that would love to scab the job of being in the lead production for the cheer compitition!!! she called off the strike!! I'M A UNION BUSTER!!!! lol
