    Re: Depression

ctrl look into medicaid man alot of peolpe are on it but they dont want to admit it. In this time and age of insurance and our economy and unemployment if you dont have money or a job then go aplly for this. Dont let pride get in the way. If you get medicaid then you can get some tyherapy for your depression.

Go to Walmart, as they have many meds that are just $4, including the one that trip had posted. You just need to get a script for it.

            Re: Depression

I take buproprion for my depression/ptsd. I'm not sure how well it works, but it does work to quit smoking so that's a plus. I'm also given trazadone to sleep which is another anti depressant but I don't really take it. I'm trying to recall what else they experimented with but I can't recall. I was given Paxil once but didn't take that either. Buproprion seems to be the best, but it doesn't help with my irritability or anger at all.

              Re: Depression

In this game it very well can be both chemical imbalances, and also causing the depression and if you factor stressors..It will def make it both a physiological and psychological on. I use Holy Basil, which helps balance out cortisol levels, Red Yeast Rice for cholesterol and bp. Dieting conducive to helping the bodys immune system and healing. I also take 4 mg Ativan at night b4 bed. Zoloft is good as well, but better to see both a psychiatrist and a physiologist. It is best to see first if there are personal issues that may be heightening the depression caused by a hormone imbalance first.

                  Re: Depression

The doc gave me a prescription for different anti-depressants over the years but they had so many sides that I stopped taking most of them. The only one that works for me is Prozac. I have to remember to take one first thing in the morning though because it makes me feel "high" and also hyperactive lol.

                    Re: Depression

I can honestly say that I can related to depression. Back in 2007, my girlfriend at the time left me on New Year's Eve when I'd returned from work and 2 months later, I was taken off of work by our manager and was out until late 2008. I, actually, attempted suicide twice back then. With a shitload of pain killers and muscle relaxers at my leisure, I once took liquid Vicodin, 500 mg. Vicodin, and Soma then flushed them down with Southern Comfort & Coca-Cola. As you can clearly see, it failed but I got a great night sleep that night. Thank God that it failed because alot of good things have been happening in my life as of lately.
