Anyone date or marry someone who who has the totally OPPOSITE political view than you? What was/is it like? Could you ever date someone who loves obama?
I think about that ET looking, left wing James Carville dude who is married to that super conservative chick. They seem to get along real well.
I have been dating this girl since april and she loves obama. She says she loves CNN. She even sent me a link to the CNN homepage..haha...I told her she needs to start watching Fox News..she said "I HATE FOX" haha..I laughed and told her I was going to send her a link to Fox news online..lol..truth be known, I dont believe half the shyt on fox anyway..but anyway...Her political views dont really bother me. I mean, its not like I am looking to get married to this girl

A friend of mine is dating a whacko liberal chick. That would be a tough one. Maybe not. So long as you keep it very light hearted. Very very light! It's backwards, ya know Dzone. Ya have to tip-toe around "liberals" because they aren't so liberal, really.

LOL..oh yea, I keep it all very lighthearted...Its mostly just teasing that I do...I might ask her "How can you possibly stand the guy?"..She isnt ultra political and neither am I. I pretty much believe that republicans and democrats are all 95% scoundrels..Now if I was a die hard hardcore republican, like I used to be, It might be an issue

Once it gets really serious. One usually sees the reason and logic behind the other's views, and they'll follow suit. My wife stands for everything I do. She supports almost everything I do. Some things, or people, that I give chances to, she wouldn't.

my mom and dad...50yrs, mom rebub and dad a dem!! they did it. i dont EVER remember them talking much about politics...really...just wasnt something that was more important than their union. they voted...my dad was UBER patriotic (try hanging a "who" flag or the "dukes of hazard" flag around my oldman!! he'd kick your ass from one end of the house to the garage...where you'll deposit your flag in the trash receptical!!) and my mom didnt disguss politics at all. she still dont!! i wasnt pushed one way or the other at all...i leaned toward repub most my life, but i find myself seeking a 3rd party....i feel the 2 we have a corrupt and comprmised beyond repair

My girl is very liberal but I'm slowly converting her. Not that I'm republican but I'm independent. She's not watchin fox yet but she's def starting to see why we can't help ppl that don't wanna help themselves.

Fox is far from independent..lol..But it is a slight bit, and I mean SLIGHT bit better than MSNBC. It's nearly impossible to get a fair view from the msm, you have to filter everything yourself.

Oh, and I turned my girl into a Libertarian. Not that it was very hard. Most people with common sense will easily become Libertarian. ;-)

When I got married my wife was a Michigan fan, which is just as bad as being liberal.So whenst i burned her M sweatshirt in the driveway she came around to a better line of thinking.
