I posted this before about the Escort Passport 9500IX, a new radar detector. This is GPS driven and would have told you that a camara was present at that light. Took this to VA beach a few months back as was amazed at stop lights -

Yep. The passport will save ya big! $350 and that'll be your last $100 to any local government.
The Passport is badass, but you still have to know how to drive dependant on a radar detector if no-one's in front of you. The Passport makes that easier too though. If someone's a mile ahead, and he's hittin people with the gun, it'll let you know. Ya just gotta be aware when you're way out in front on those county highways. Just incase you're the only one for the a couple miles. That instant-on's a bytch coming around a curve. The Passport is like the Duke boys though. It flattens the hills and straightens the curves pretty damn amazingly. It'll let ya know.1 up

true story...when they first put these up in ft myers it tagged this guy going 65 through a light. the police sent him a picture of his car and a ticket for speeding and running a light...a 200 offence total. he sent them a picture of 200 bucks!!! LMAO!!! the lee county sheriff's dept sent him a picture of a jail cell!!!! it was in the paper.
in michigan, according to the michigan constitution, it is unlawful to issue a ticket for any offence that is not WITNESSED by an officer of the law. camera's are illegal. we dont have that problemHE WHO MAKES A BEAST OF HIMSELF, GET'S RID OF THE PAIN OF BEING A MAN!!

We've had them in AZ for a long time now. they just outlawed the vehicles they had doing the same thing only on the state highways, so at least those are gone. Its ridiculous, but there are ways to get out of them, as they have a hard time proving it was actually you driving the car.
