I understand what you mean here Fuzo, and it does appear that no matter what we do the result will be the bloodshed of Americans. However, it is inevitable that American soldiers will die in Iraq and Afghanistan if those radicals burn Korans and the media airs it on international TV. Read my post from earlier where I discussed the attacks from the media's portrayal of the Abu Gharib prison tortures. It happened, I was there, and it was the scariest time of my life. We were all so ticked off at the media those long weeks. In our eyes the media was guilty of getting soldiers killed. Americans at home tend to forget about the soldiers who are at war. I assure you that every time the media airs something negative in regard to Islamic radicals, the soldiers are at risk and often many of them are killed. But back home the people don't hear about all of this. For example, last summer when I was in Mosul, Iraq, the President pulled the soldiers from the cities back onto the bases and only allowed combat operations to continue under the command of Iraqi Forces and during daytime hours. Well, we got hammered again beginning the first night we pulled back. It wasn't as bad as the Abu Gharib event but still there were increased attacks on the base I was on and we had to sit there and take it without being allowed to retaliate.
