Like I said I see all your points and I see why soldiers would be pissed because I dont want any of them in harms way but ive always been brought up a eye for a eye. Why should they be able to burn our flag every friggin time and if we do anything to other countries or bad people then we are wrong

That was me bro. I was in Balad Iraq, aka Mortaritaville at the time when the Gharib pictures were released. We were getting rocket attacks on the base in our tent city like crazy and one of them hit a tent 3 down from mine and killed an air traffic controller Airman 1st Class and took the leg off another tenant. What a scary night that turned out to be. But we ended up hitting the guys shooting rockets with a hellfire missile. The attacks went on for a couple weeks at that high level, dozens of shells and rockets per day and night. Its hard to sleep when the ground shakes all night from rockets I assure you. I can only imagine the same thing will happen if they burn those books and the media airs it which they will.

We have it so good here in America, we can hardly imagine going through such a thing. Your opinions come from someone who faced the fire over there, so for me, it caRRIES more legitimacy with regards to the war. Al Jazeera will take the videos of the book burning and use it to incite further hatred. They will make it look like ALL Americans are acting this way. Like EVERY American is a religious fanatic who wants to kill innocent people. Its called PROPAGANDA and it has been used since the beginning of time to influence the m a sses. No worries bro just wanted to reiterate my point really. I have seen the level of violence skyrocket from this type of bs and it isn't fun when you're over there. I have no problem with anyone burning bibles if that's what they want to do, but they are only helping the sellers of those books by purchasing them to burn and hurting the soldiers by causing a large media focus on the event. The terrorists will surely use this as a means to recruit more fighters for their cause, which will be used as suicide bombers and such. I would even go as far as to say this may aggravate them to such an extreme that they may carry out attacks inside our homeland. You have to try and think like they will. The ones who are passively involved will be motivated stronger than ever when they see on tv that their sacred Koran is being burned. This will lead to a level of pissed off that we have never seen possibly. I won't be surprised one bit if some of these radicals unleash their anger on American soil, but let's hope not. I think this will anger them as much or more than anything else we have done since the war. Just my 2 cents though, I am no expert but have witnessed the levels of attacks increase every time the media airs anything negative toward the Islamic extremists.

If you were brought up on the bible's teaching of an eye for an eye than surely you must have been taught to turn the other cheek. Two wrongs don't make it right. I guess it comes down to, if you know and understand why they dislike us, then you would know and understand why doing this is harmful to the war effort and any peace process. What you're doing by condoning this is perpetuating the anger against us.
