Lol! I guess I wouldn't be leaving the house if its that bad out there and I can't take my gun. This stuff amazes me. The right to bear arms was specifically implemented to protect us from the government, yet it is the government who is disarming us. Go figure, they want our guns. It is only a matter of time I fear before we lose the right to bear arms completely. It may take several more years but it is bound to happen if something doesn't change with these political hacks controlling our country. One thing's for sure, I'm glad I don't live in NC, and I don't care how pretty it is there. You should live here and put up with her crap.
The law was implemented during the time Hurricane Floyd came through in 1999.
We had dumbazzs running around the country side with firearms threating people over ice,water,food and robbing people for their generators. There were a few shootings by people protecting themselves, their families and their property from these idiots.
If you are found with a firearm,riding around the designated emergency area,you will be apprehended.
This also applies to the sale of alcoholic beverages. No alcohol can be sold to anyone during the state of emergency.
I do not agree with this law at all. If someone comes to my home during a time off emergency and threatens me or my wife, I will do what is necessary to protect us.Push it, Pull it, Rack it. Repeat untill wide!!

Yankees freaking out about a lil hurricane lol. We have hurricane parties everytime one hits. Three have hit my house in the past five years. We just fix our stuff and go on with life, not like the whiney retards in new Orleans still wanting handouts five years later.They call you paranoid until the worst happens, and in the aftermath they will call you a hero.Comment

If ever our country attempts to become a dictatorship I believe it will be accomplished by state of emergency and national emergency declarations whereby they take everyone's firearms. I don't like to sound too conspiratorial but I seriously wonder if these are tests to see how Americans respond to their guns rights being taken. New Orleans was proof that everybody will simply comply and turn them over. I am still shocked that they went door to door with loaded guns drawn and pointed at law abiding citizens on their private property.
