talk.
My daughter stayed out of school today. I had to pick her up yesterday because a stomach virus got her pretty bad. She had already aced her test for the week. 3 for 3 so far! I'm proud.
But back to the topic. So, she's hangin with me today. This morning, just a few minutes sgo. She turned and looked at me, and said, "dad, kids at school say that Santa's not real." I asked her, "who? boys or girls?" She said both.
She's in kindergarten. She'll be 6 in Nov. Parents, when did you have the talk. Or did it just wear-off after so-many yrs, and it was just an obvious understanding. (the no need for a talk way). That's how me and brothers were. Boys are different though.
Daved, how did it happen with yours? if ya don't mind me asking.
And to everybody. When is a good age to set the Santa deal straight? I know maturity is a large factor. My little 5yr old would surprise you in conversation. She's cool. Smart girl. I just don't wanna break her heart if it's too early. But I'm not gonna let her go to 8yrs old like my oldest neice. I'm sure if my daughter is already hearing it in kindergarten, I would be concerned for my daughter's maturity and the way other kids would treat her that old. 8 is taking it too far, imo.
