I think it's good and acceptable for parent to give their opinions to their child, but any other involvement unless otherwise asked for is unnecessary. -

YOU HAVE TO ADVISE BUT NOT GET INTO TOO MUCH...YOU MAY LOSE BOTH OF THEM BY GETTING "TOO" INVOLVED IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN.
