I went to a pain specialist who specializes in trigger points. And as Ive been posting about my hamstrings and the pain I have in them. I went to this Doc and after examining me I got a total of 14 shots. I got shots in both glutes I got shots in my lower back on each side of the disks at the bottom. I got a whole bunch of shots in my hamstrings and i'm very sore right now.But the pain I was in is almost gone.I'm so happy I finaly did this to get help.

I would think that after 14 shots your endorphins had to be sky high!!!!Probably walked out of there with a helluva buzz! I would probably try it just for the rush...lolComment

Hope that works out man. I have crazy knots in my neck and traps all the time and have had to have them treated as well, not with shots though. Got a ****age Monday and was talking about the trigger points and she knew what I was talking about and it helped a lot but was a bit uncomfortable at times. Gotta go back again next Monday for another one, I wish I could afford to go twice a week. Have you ever tried ultrasound on your hamstrings and back? I have been to chiropracters who have used it before. I have heard a lot of good things about it for trigger points and healing soft tissue damage, all major rehab places use it for athletes and such. Anyway, you can get home models for under $200 that work pretty well. Im gonna look into it more for myself.Comment
