Re: glock compact .45 cal
Probably a G30 or 36. And no, it's not that you've just been away from shooting for a while. Gaston Glock engineered what could possibly be the greatest combat pistol of all time.
I've learned why Glock has been coined "the AK of pistols" by many. It really has a sure thing, 100% reliability that very Kalashnikovish. You can add dirt and grime to either, and the action reduces the dirt to nothing, and keeps pumping 'em out as fast as you need 'em to fly.
You have met...the Glock. You'll repect it even more if you DCC one and let it show you it's trustworthiness. No primp. No nonsense. No problem. Even more...no lube. dry, dirty Glock. Still. No problem.

Re: glock compact .45 cal
yep. we have a gun show this weekend. I've been wanting a .45 just for fun. 9mm is my choice CC caliber because of capacity, and my capability for quick, on-target follow-up shots. And the 9mm has came a long way in the last 50yrs. It's really packin some punch and at a velocity that can't be beat. At least by another pistol. Hence the need for a good HP. (over-penetration)
