A Senate committee was held to examine mismanagement at the nation's most hallowed burial place for troops killed during war.

Senators grilled the two men who used to run the Arlington Cemetery after a scandal involving hundreds of mismarked graves erupted last month.

Cemetery officials estimated that 211 graves were misidentified, mismarked, or mislocated at the historic cemetery.

It is now feared that problem could be much worse. Up to 6,600 graves may be unmarked, improperly marked, or mislabeled on the cemetery's maps.

Government jobs are the same from the local to the federal level. It doesn't matter how poor your performance is, you will never get fired. Only reason you can get fired is if the media finds out you did something wrong.

when my dad was in the veterans hospital they didnt tale care of him like they should of. He was a war vet he served his country and they stole from him. those gov employees stold from my dad they didnt take ncare of him that well it was horrible.

Forced to RETIRE???? WTF???? I'm sure they offered them a real sweet retirement package, loaded with benefits. Only in the government do a$$wipes like this get to "retire"! They should have been shytcanned and courtmarshalled then thrown in jail...instead, the government lets them RETIRE...shaking my head in disgust
