    H.R. 5741 - Mandatory Service

    Here is another pathetic bill currently in the committee by racist congressman - Charles Rangle. The bill if passed would give the president the authority to require all persons in the U.S. age 18-42 to perform 2 years of mandatory services either in the uniformed services or civilian service. Some may agree with this but I for one do not and see it as another attempt to create a socialist country, one without freedom. For the record, I am a veteran of the armed services and served multiple tours in Iraq and Afghanistan so I have nothing against serving your country, just believe it should be voluntary.

    Here is the news link from a controversial site but it is spot on this time, and actually usually is spot on but gets a bad rep.

        We should be like the Swiss. Require 2 years of service then send you home with a rifle to keep in case of war.
        They call you paranoid until the worst happens, and in the aftermath they will call you a hero.
