Anyone ever get bite by a snake

When I was a kid i was in the hen house getting eggs. I wasn't tall enough to see in all the roosts. I stuck my hand in one and grabbed a chicken snake. Scared the hell out of me lol.

during mating season the Black Racer is known to chase people out of his territory and be extremely aggressive. These suckers are fast too.
Did this happen in early spring Fuzo?

YEP SURE DID. I WAS BY BUSHES BY THE PORCH OUTSIDE AND I LEANED MY LEG UP ON THE PORCH TO TIE MY SHOE AND THAT SUCKER JUST CAME OUT AND STUCK ME IN MY STOMACH AREA.I WAS YOUNG AND I WAS SLEEPING OVER AT A FREIND HOUSE WHO LIVES IN THE WILDERNESS THEY JUST MOVED THERE. THEY NEVER LIVED IN THE COUNTRY BEFORE JUST CITY FOLKS. SO THEY TAKE ME TO THE PHARMACY TO SEE WHAT I NEED BECAUSE THEY DIDNT KNOW WHAT TO DO. WELL BY THE TIME I GOT TO THE PHARMACY I LIFTES UP MY SHIRT AND MY WHOLE AREA WAS SWOLLEN BIG TIME AND THW PHARMACIST SAID OMG TAKE HIM TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM,THEN I FREAKED OUT AND STARTED TO CRY,LOL I DIDNT CRY FROM THE BITE BUT WHEN THEY GUY SAID OMG ITS SO BAD AND SWOLLEN I LOST IT. I WAS JUST ABOUT 8YRS OLD SO CRYING WAS STILL OK,LOL

been bit by a few burmese pythons (luckliy little ones)

also a few local rat snakes and several others as i worked in a pet shop when i was young

ive been bit about a hundred times or so by black snakes and garden snakes. I use to really mess with snakes a lot we lived in the country and i was a kid. Never got bit by a rattler or anything although i use to mess with them a lot too. Use to stick sticks down there holes trying to get them to come out. they can't really attack from inside the hole and as soon as there head pops out you just lop it off with a machete and then you have some snake for dinner. Man that's good stuff right there. I would say the most painful thing that ever bit me was i use to have a nile monitor you can google it. Man those things are mean as balls and have some serious teeth. He use to bite the piss out of me all the time.

my wifes dad was bit by a cotton mouth in florida. after it stuck, above his boot, he hit it with a shovel and killed it. they got him too the hospital and he was all fuked up....he died on the table three times while they waited for his son to go back and get the snake so they knew what anti-venom to treat him with.
it made the paper and he had all these religous people, from every religion, coming to him and asking if he seen "the light"....he always said "nope...no light at all, just really peaceful.... as i let out my last breath, it was like that deep sigh of relief when you finish with the hardest job youve ever done. and blackness....". i always joke wiht him after that story.."uh-oh lou...looks like you wernt a good boy!!!" lol...r.i.p pops

another thing, its another reason we left florida in 2001 and moved to michigan, (where my bank account has been attacked by snakes of a different sort!!). there was a little girl down the street (5 or 6) that was riding her bike and a pygmy rattler hit her from the ditch!!! wtf? little girl made it, but was lucky!!! that scared the shyt out of my concidering this little girl played wiht my little gilr....fuk that

I cant think of too many things more hideous than a snake...One night I was going to the fridge and flipped on the light and a long skinny black snake went slithering across the floor..OMG! ..It went under the fridge and I never saw that f***ker again. I kept thinking that bastar4d was in my house all summer..LOL...if I ever got bit, I swear I think I would beat that snake with a shovel until it was smashed beyond recognition...Ive met girls who had pet snakes and it was enough to make me not want to go out with them...the only good snake is a DEAD snake.

I dont really mind snakes but dont want one as a pet either. Black racers and green garden snakes were all over my yard in Florida growin up but their were also copper heads and rattle snakes. And one time right up against our house i was playing and my dad came by and somehow saw a coral snake right by me. Once he uncovered the brush we found out it was a whole family of coral snakes like 2 feet from our house. No one got bit and they were all promptly disposed of. dont call PETA.

statistically there is one snake per acre of land in the US. They play a vital role in the ecosystem controlling small animal and rodent populations. Snakes have gotten a bad rap. Most all are harmless and we would be alot worse off without snakes.

My brother in-law was weedeating last year and got bit by a cotton mouth. After it bit him, he ran it down and caught it and put it in a bucket. He went straight to the hospital. His arm and hand swelled so bad that it looked like his skin was going to pop!! That arm was easily twice as big as his other. He brought the snake over in the bucket and that was one evil looking snake man!!

Also, when we were younger riding 3-wheelers and I got off to take a leak, I guess I happen to piss right on a black racer and it come out of those bushes fast as lightning. I jumped on the 3-wheeler and that thing was right on my butt for quite a few feet. Those things are really fast.
