Re: Anyone in LA, Baltimore, Beaverton Or, Chicago and Minneapolis
Well bro I have lived in Oregon for about 12 yrs and let me tell you. I absolutley love it,there has never been a place where I have been where people are so friendly. People are def not afriad to say hi, and thats the main reason why after Im done working, I will retire there. You cant beat summers there either, all the rivers/lakes to swim, lay, and bbq w/friends and family. There is so much to do and raise a family! OREGON ALL THE WAY BRO!!

utah is the place to be if you can put up with mormons...close to vegas, some of the best scenery in the world, and the economy is still pretty strong here...on a typical day like today, within 3 hours i can be in 105 degree weather or 60degree weather....something for everyone

if you're goal is too go up the ladder put some wings on because you will travel your ass off literally
a. get 7-10 years experience
b. go thru 5-7 years on the road, any position of autority, ie, regional manger, sales manger, etc. etc. etc. etc., where u travel minimum 50% of time, and move 2-3 times or some such
then u are gold plated corporate climber, meaning u will do what it takes to get ahead, work 80 hours a week, then u r ready for the big time jobs
just an observation, Under Armor, smaller company so less people in your way, and u speak multiple languages and the CEO who started it is, from dozens of articles i've read on him, a pretty smart guy
on a side not, there is crap everywhere, up the ladder down the ladder and in every city state and country
good luck
in summary, don't worry about location, in corporate it's postion postion postion that will lead to next rung, and again, prepare to move often

Yo 3VanDoo... Look at Central Oregon too then. Bend or Redmond.. That area is the bomb if you don't mind Oregon's high income tax. Besides, then I'll have a place to stay when I come down to snowboard Mt. Bachelor. That area is a mecca for outdoor activity. Lots of relocated Cali's there though. That is the sucky part. I almost bought a place there in the early 90's.. Wish I did now.. Although last winter when I was there, I found a lot of places going pretty cheap because of all the dumb aces that got over their heads with mortgages.. If you go.. you better let me know! LOL
