Russian ballistic knife

A guy I know is looking for that knife. I have no idea what a Russian ballistic knife here and I'm not sure I wanna know

I've only seen them in videos. It is a knife with a powder charged blade. It shoots out like a bullet....wicked stuff.

My buddy says that they are banned in the U.S. but he really wants to lay his hands on one for this collection of knives and swords.

i saw a demo on deadliest warrior. they are really cool.

the one they used is spring loaded instead of powder

The one I saw actually incorporated a either a powder or compressed gas charge to propel the blade. It did more than just stick in a piece of wood. It went through a 1/2" sheet of plywood.
