I THINK THATS WHAT MINE IS. WAS LIKE 1100 MORE THEN BASIC LASIK. BUT THEY MAP MY EYE AND REMOVE EVERY FLAW. THATS ABOUT ALL I GOT OUT OF IT. AFTER TWO MINUTES OF TALKING I LOSE FOCUS AND START LOOKING AROUND THE ROOM. DAMN THIS TBI

ok...i'd never start a link about this, but becouse the chance of fuzo or o2 opening this up again after they posted is slim.
for the record, we ALL KNOW fuzo and o2 are WAY OLDER THAN ME!!!! WAAAAAYYYY OLDER!!!

i woke up about 6weeks ago and i went to read my magaizine while i was taking a dump (ok...yea, like you dont?!) and i couldnt see the type. i thaught..."what the fuk they gotta make that shyt so small for!!! add another page to the mag assholes". so...that afternoon i was trying to read a different mag and i realized my arms wernt long enough for me to read the fukin thing!! i was holding that sum'***** an arm length away and still couldnt read. my wife went to her purse, pulled out some reading glasses and said "here hawkeye, try these"...fuk me! now i gots 4 pairs of these things laying around the house...i gotta use them just to see the fukin computer without getting a headache!!!

OH damn, I feel your pain bro. I keep several of them around because I dont want to be going "Wheres my reading glasses!"...It sucks...I often think of getting those that you can hang around your neck, but I am probably too vain to do that..lmao!...I had Lasik in 1997 and it has still been excellent, but as far as close up reading, I am f____ed..LOL...Try picking up a supplement can in the store and reading it..good lord, its in micro print!!!! Makes me feel so old when I cant read the ingredients on a label...But fugit, I aint old...!!!

Had Lasek done many years agao. Couldn't get the typical Lasik cause my cornea was too thin. Lasek has a much longer recovery period. Would do it all again as it beats wearing coke bottle glasses. my eyes were REALLY bad. now 20/15 in each

You won't regret it - although they cook your eyes with the laser and the smell is sick... LOL.

i had lasik in 01 and still see 20/20. it is the best $$$ i have ever spent on myself for sure

Ok... you all are making me so jealous! I am legally blind and have been since elementary school. I started wearing glasses in 3rd grade but probably needed them in 1st. Coke-bottle glasses don't even begin to describe my glasses. I wore soft lens for 4yrs until I couldn't stand them any more. I could only wear them 4-6 hrs before they started feeling like I slept in them for days. I always took them out at night. Never slept in them. I told my eye doctor to just give me glasses I was done with contacts. He sent me to a contact specialist and he set me up with RGP lens. I've been wearing them since **20 yrs**... oh, let's just say many years. My vision is so bad that I don't see the eye chart.... literally can't see past the bed covers. I had plans to use the money from the sell of my house to for Lasik but because of the housing crash I didn't make enough so no surgery for me.

Maybe one day I'll be able to have it done. I would love to know what it's like to wake up in the middle of the night and be able to see how to get to the bathroom without trying to find my glasses first.
