    gun cleaning...

    I haven't used my gun in 6 months but did field strip it and clean it after its last use. Should I re-field strip it and clean it again before its next use?

    No. Not unless you have been playing on the sandbox with it. I clean and oil mine after each use and then once a year oil every gun in my safe to inhibit corrosion.
    They call you paranoid until the worst happens, and in the aftermath they will call you a hero.

        I clean my carry weapon once a month.
