BP was know for taking risks in being on the cutting edge and it had paid off for some time. Unfortunately one risk can be the demise of any company. It appears that investigators found that BP was cutting corners in several areas to save costs. They are in some deep doo doo now.

Yeah.. Between skimming to cut costs and making up reasons to increase gas prices, they have been lining their pockets for years.. If this hadn't gotten so bad, they would have slept this under the rug as well... But it got way beyond their control. And now gas prices will increase further this summer as all the other suppliers take this opportunity to increase their prices to further line their pockets...merc is my hero

Same thing they did in 2005 when 15 people died in their Texas city, TX refinery. A few of my friends got injured in it and bp settled with them for a couple million apiece. I've wooed in several of bp's refineries. They are all in disrepair and pack in regular maintenance.They call you paranoid until the worst happens, and in the aftermath they will call you a hero.Comment
