Well, this one looks like it's already heading in that direction. And I think any war thread is going to go that way, but that's up to you. I can see why as a Mod, you don't really want to start a post that just ends up as a bunch of dick-waving.

So.. I'll see what I can think of to answer your question. Now these are just suggestions here people, I have no idea if these are "better ways" just different ways.

1) I'd like to see some sort of a assasination campaign against Saddam and all of his regeim. I know you americans have some pretty amazeing technology and this could probably be done.. tho it would also proably take alot longer.

2) Don't rush so much! I don't think the US pushed too hard too fast. I know it's been 10+ years, but America has only been pushing this war for the last year or so. This isn't an anit-war solution, but would make me feel a hell of alot better about the whole thing.

3) Occupy part of Iraq, fence it, and guard it. Then allow the people to flee to this safe, occupied region before the real war commenses. OR.. let the Iraqi people learn for themselves that the Americans arn't so bad after all instead of commenceing the war. Once they become confortable with Americans, support for Saddam would quickly waver.. especially with a place where they're safe from his wrath. Then just go in and boot out Saddam.

I think these 3 are good enough for now.

I figured it out! There was an evil polar bear who was the dictator of Iceland. A war was never fought to take him out. He ate some bad fish and died. No war was needed.

I think Loco was more making the point that "they never have had to go to war". Meaning they've always been able to find a peaceful resolution. I don't think he was comparing Iceland to Iraq. But only Loco knows for sure.
