yes sir. I have nothing against plastic furniture, or railed furniture. I just think the authentic [wood furniture look] is more appealing on the Kalash.

As deep said, youtube... the web in general has a plethora of 'how-to's. The AK is really simple once you do it. Just push the button on the back of the receiver to pull the receiver cover off.(the top piece). Then you pull the recoil spring and guide with piston out. Then take the bolt carrier and bolt out. Get all that reddish color grease, that Century or whoever used, off of the bolt-carrier and bolt. Then lube well with your choice gun lubricant.

Prob i found is that the one dude who used to sell the authentic Russian sights is ill and all the ones floating around are cheap Chinese shit that break easily.

I found one that looks just like the original Russian scope-mount. I forget the name...Firefox??? maybe?..Fire'somethin'...It seems like I remember "fire" as part of the brand.

I doubt these were actual Russian scope mounts. They just look similar to the ones I saw while looking through some pics from a Kalash museum.
