Re: Anyone reload their own ammo?

It really doesn't weigh out, cost benefit wise, for 9mm and Russian 7.62 combat ammo. Those are both so inexpensive even per box that reloading what I shoot most of isn't cost effective enough for me to veer off factory loaded and distributed ammo.

I would like the equipment, knowledge, and a massive surplus of everything under the sun. Like an underground, paranoid, hide-out style bunker the size of a 4-car garage with a surplus. and develope a constant eye-twitch.lol

I wish I could help, bro.

I have a cousin who did that alot. He had the equipment and supplies and all. He did alot of skeet shooting and reloaded his 12-gauge rounds.

I have been reloading since I was a kid. Started helping my dad at a young age. I buy components in bulk and save a lot of money. I compete in long range shooting competitions and there is no substitute for handloading. Every gun is different. 2 identical guns will never shoot the same. Hand loading let's you customize your load to reach the full potential accuracy of your rifle. Rcbs makes a good starter combo kit if you want to get started.
They call you paranoid until the worst happens, and in the aftermath they will call you a hero.

^That's the good stuff. I was reading a thread over at TFL that was a couple a guys talking about the perfect load, round, etc...for 'such-n-such' rifle, distance...It's an art when you get serious. I would like to have the equipment and knowledge like mr. rc10. I'm no match-shooter though either. Long as I'm grouping a relatively tight center mass from 100yrds, I'm content.

my stepdad has always reloaded, but I haven't. I buy most all my .45/9mm/38/223 from a guy that handloads- prices are cheap- my 7.62 I buy in bulk online and 22's and deer rifle loads(243/25-06) I buy factory buy the case
