Re: Underwater view of oil spill

Did you guys here the on guy make the conspiracy theory that the government caused this because of their stand on oil drilling? He said that it was too much of a coincidence that the Obama was bragging on how safe the rig was and then the next week it exploded.

Re: Underwater view of oil spill

          *edit*

Now, I've gotta respond to giving Obama blame for this oil spill. I blame the whole leftist ideology that is his way. I blame all the tree-huggin, "but what-ifs", like Obama for holding things up. Ultimately though, I do blame Obama, and anyone that votes for drilling offshore instead of tapping into our massive resourses right here on American land that is well away from any urban, suburban, or any live threat other than a lizard in the desert mountains, or absolutely nothing in Anwr. So, ultimately, the blame is on the shoulders of Obama. He could've got the rigs out of the water, where great tragedy such as the current circumstance stand no chance. Then beginning the new age of petro independance for the U.S. Ending the chance for killing off the aquatic ecosystem, and our benefits of it.

I've watched grown men, old men, cry as they've seen some of the repercussions from this. I watched a school of large fish coming to the surface gasping for oxygen because of this spill. Fish are gasping at air!!!
Disturbing isn't the word. My mother took my daughter to the beach after school yesterday so she could swim because she might not be able to by our weekend beach day. That's a crushed 5yr old girl.
"No drilling on land!"...pshheit...How much land and life is ruined by that worn out equipment used in countries that we get our oil from? I wonder...None??? I'm sure it would make liberal news without hesitation if it ever happened.

Anyone think that maybe the government is "holding on" to our reserves on American soil?

idk man. What would be the rational for that? I don't understand any reasoning behind that. We have over 500million yrs worth of oil in 1 spot in the Rockies. There is a greater supply in ANWR. That's figuring on population growth, number of cars and all variables throughout time with accurate scientific account. So I just can't foresee any reason for "holding on" to our resourses. The only thing I've ever known to keep us from tapping our own oil are tree hugging politicians.
We stand great gains...Tremendous gains if we were to take on the oil suppliers of the world, and rely on our selves in that dept. Huge!!! That's some serious change to bank on! The momentum for America would be so strong...We would be hummin like never before within 5yrs.
