Re: Has anyone been diagnosed with.....

If that is what it turns out to be there are a lot of natural alternatives that people are using with good results. Researching herbal, traditional, natural type medicines has been kind of my hobby for quite a few years even when it pertains to a condition that I don't have. Aside from the supps already mentioned Serrapeptase, nattokinase (and other proteolytic enzymes) have given some people nearly amazing results. Also collagen powder type 1 and 3, made by Neocell or Doctor's Best. Also Hyaluronic acid pills. If you want a good natural type site to look up a lot of this stuff and read tons of real reviews PM me and I'll let ya know. I am in no way shape or form affiliated with it either its just a good site that actually has good, cheap products and actual real reviews.

Also, Seanol, or brown seaweed extract has been very helpful to a lot of people with fibro, CFS, MCS etc. Really just look around and do some research, their is a lot out there. I hope all goes well!

This chronic pain is very debilitating.
Oh, its a valid diagnosis, no doubt. But I have seen a lot of people diagnosed with it that shouldn't have been...Ive seen people just give up and get depressed over it even though There is a lot that can be done to manage it. Many MDs just dont have an answer for chronic pain like that, so they just say "Must be fibromyalgia.""

Dzone, I've noticed that lately with fibromyalgia. It's an easy 'catch-all' for people that are suffering severe pain throughout the body. They even through that out there for my wife because there are times she can't bear the pain. She'll be lieing, fetal position, in tears with pain. Even after several MRIs showed abnormalities throughout her brain, this one nuerologist still said, "mmm, maybe firbro..." yeah, k...
We're heading to a University to hopefully get some better answers. The neurologist gave a diagnosis for the University Hospital referral, but just diks around with us. There are 3 major diseases my wife's recent neurologists have past on as a 'diagnosis' for the referral. It's like they don't want to deal with more than firbromyalgia. The large, reputable University clinics...Mayo, Shans, etc...I've heard great things about those. Especially the one we're headed to for the southeast.

baby1, I hope it's no disease that comes with deteriation. I help my wife pull through these tough times by, as with anything, I just stay on the up-n-up. Not to be mistaken for delusional. Just very positive. Whatever comes our way. We'll be fine, and cross bridges as they come. That's the mind-set I strive to maintain.
I pray the best for you and your family.
            1 up

            Go Gators
