Then when the little one goes to bed, and when no-one will be walking across the carpet, I set the sprayer to "spray"(mist) and spray the whole floor. Do the outside parameter too. Don't forget around windows and door-jams. Door-jams are important because there are usually some 'daylight' spots in them where bugs freely come and go.
It's safe for the whoile family, children, babies, and pets. My dogs have always left it alone as I did it just before bedtime. This crazy bulldog we have was lapping it off the window sill a couple wks ago, though, and it didn't phase him. Goofy dog. So, it's definitely safe, as the label reads.

EXACTLY!!! I get them coming in through my Plant window in the kitchen, so every year I have to spray the heck out of it!!!

      Re: ANTS

Fire ants invade my house every year, and as soon as the pest control people come out they spray the perimeter, interior then hook up this machine to my house. The newer houses in Florida have tubes in the walls that distribute pesticides throughout the house in between the walls. After that I don't see one bug at all for almost a year.

Living in the sticks I get every type of bug you can think of. In the fall we get invaded by these Japanesse Lady Bugs. Instead of red, they're orange. Hundreds of them. They imported the little critters to eat the aphids the live on the corn plants. They are actually protected by law, but you can kill/spray them in the house and outbuildings.
We got ants to. My house is like over 150 years old. They come and go as they please. We set traps and spray to keep them under control.

Hun, how big is this crack, lol! I mean the Ortho is good ive used it, but if the crack isnt tht big or the floor is not uneven, you can buy a concrete sealer. Its cheaper than pulling up the foundation, unless you are getting water because of bad drainage. That is if this is a basement or slab home we are talking about. Pullling out the foundations or slab will cost way more than a concrete sealer. Id spray really well with the Ortho ant killer then seal it,. Ive used gasoline b4 and that will kill just about anything.
