Anyone refill their empty shells (no clue how to do that) or any other ways to save on ammuntion?

Gun shows and Wal-Mart usually. I don't use reloads, just new ones, typically Federals.
Government is not reason; it is not eloquent; it is force. Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master. George Washington
I do not condone the use of, nor do I use anabolic or androgenic steroids. My participation on these boards is for informational purposes only. I have done extensive research of AAS and enjoy discussing them for role playing enjoyment.
yeah, with a 9mm. It's hardly worth reloads. I'm with Jsjs on the Federal FMJs for target. $9.98 a box. Can't beat it. Winchester White Box from Wal-Mart is an inexpensive round good enough to plink with. Wal-Mart stores around here are loaded with those JWS in the orange and black box. They were $16&change. They've dropped to $12.something at the wally world down the street from me.
Hell, I use PMC, Magtech FMJ, Blazer...whatever FMJ is priced right and available. If Wal-Mart's dry, hit your fav gun-shop. Some gun shops try to jack ya on the price. That's why I stock up when Wal-Mart has 'em. And just pay the money for my self-defense rounds. I won't skimp on SD ammo.
Your European loads, e.g. Fiocchi, Sellier & Bellot...are packed hotter. If ya want hot FMJ that spit fire you can see in the day time. They'll do it. American Eagle by Federal seem to be a hot round.
Check cheaperthandirt.com and sportsmanguide.com . Both of them sell them at a better price if buying 500 rounds. Wal-Mart is good at times. But right now we have been buying 9mm for 10.00 per 50 rounds. But we are buying 2,000 at a time. Also gunbroker.com and bid on ammo.
cheaperthandirt is excellent. They tax the heck out of you on the shipping though, (that's just with ammo) Ammo has a higher shipping price, so it's not on them.
Somehow, ammunitiontogo.com keeps their shipping prices down. They have left over NATO 9mm at times too. Talk about spitting fire...ammunitiontogo.com has some pretty competetive prices. sometimes a good selection of quality ammo.
