We're still trying to get a loan for our new place. We've been in it for 3 yrs and we've got a construction loan, but we've been unable to change it over to a home loan. Region is about to piss me off because they've been dragging as about giving us an answer one way or the other. I'm looking for another lender.

I let my license go back a few years ago- but my mother owns a Realty Co. and I can say this- they are having trouble getting peeps to qualify for loans- very slow right now

well...i got a buddy i've known for 20+ yrs. he tried to get me into the mortgage biz back in 03 (i shouldve) but i was doing well as a autosales manager and didnt want to take on something new. he got ahold of me last week. hes a owner of 5 locations and wants a 6th one. wants me to do it. he's offered to pay for my classes. pay for my license/test and pay me a draw until i get going. he said its not as great as 05-06 yet, but it's coming back strmg...he showed my the paycheck he was about to give one of his new guys and the ytd was 78k...pretty good for 4 mos!! the guy's been doing it for 6mos....i'm not saying i think i can make 20k a month from jump street like this guy did....but i know how to sell....i think i'm gonna do it.

my friends wife is one, she is still making good money in most peoples eyes, but compared to what she made in 05-06 she is not even close

Yeah, it's not as good as it was, but it is making a comeback. I have a friend that is on the board at a local bank and we were talking about me selling my home as opposed to refinancing and just staying there. She said that whatever we decided to do, we need to do it soon because the market is really getting better on homes and that the interest rates will soon start going back up.

thats what he said...04-06 he was AVERAGING 40k a month!!! now...he's at 25....he told me lstnight, he'd be very disapointed if i couldnt do 15k a month....dam...I'LL TAKE IT!!! lol...i start learning wed (tomarrow)...there's alot more to the story, but i dont want to look that far down the road....seems, over the past few years, everytime something gets laidout before me, its horseshyt!! alwys to good to be true....and not true! i just want to get this going and get my life back together...

It would be a good time to start preparing and getting you license or whatever you need to become one. The market will be coming back and you will be ready for when it happens.
