  • Where to get a stock for old 38 special?

My dad has an old 38 special that was in a fire and the stock melted on it. It still shoots great but I wanna get a new stock and get it all re-fixed up for fathers day. Where would I go to get something like this?

Try your local gun shops. They should throw some catalogs on the counter, dig to the section you need, and tell you to pick out which one you want ordered. They might even have some in stock that you'd like.

That's a damn fine gesture and gift as well. I'm sure that's one that would make your father proud.
You just need the brand, model, and serial number wouldn't hurt. Unless you have the gun. Then you're all set. It's a quick change too.

Goo Luck! I hope you find what you're looking for.

38 special is a pistol and it doesn't have a stock. Are you referring to the hand grips? You can pick up grips at any gun shop or sometimes academy. Hogue grips are sweet if you do a lot of shooting.
They call you paranoid until the worst happens, and in the aftermath they will call you a hero.

or tell me the maker of the gun- you can look on their website and they can probably sell you some directly from them.
