this will illuminate precisely for you the liberals' view of right wing hysteria..previously known as "dissent" when the democrats where in the minority..

democrats in power + popular distaste for legislation= racism, hatred, mob-mentality

republicans in power + popular distaste for legislation= "dissent"

The writer of that article is a racist himself, much like most minorities in the Democratic party. I don't waste my time reading the NY Times and not many other level headed people do either, but I can understand reading it from time to time to see what crazy stuff they are lying about.
