Have you ever been a good samaritan?

Fuzo has done a few "good samaritan" things, but one really stands out for me.

We were driving on the expressway when we saw a minivan, on the opposite side, turned over and slide across the expressway into a ditch. Immediatlety, Fuzo pulled the car over to the side of the road and jumped out and ran across the expressway to help. I was sort of freaking out, so then I carefully crossed and went after him. When I arrived at the van, Fuzo was halfway in the van and assistang children to get out. There were 4 little kids buckled in and hanging upside down, as well as a Mom, who was driving. In the meantime, gas was pouring out everywhere. Fuzo was able to get all the kids out, and they were all alright. He could not get the Mom out because she was wedged in there. The paramedics arrived and were able to get her out. Luckily noone was hurt, but there had been a dog in the van also that flew out the window and was not able to be found in the bushes beside the ditch, when we were there. I don't know if the dog was ever found because we just left quickly. The mother never really knew who helped her kids, but we knew, and it felt good. I have to admit that I was very scared when I saw the gas pouring out. I always felt that Fuzo would have been an awesome paramedic/fireman. This is just one of the great things he has done to help someone.

a couple small things...helped an old lady on the side of the road with a flat tire...helped an old dude too. gave a couple a place to live when they moved over from england while they tried to get work and find a place....actually, we've had numurous people move in with us while they got their shyt together...not counting family. i dont think me and boo have went more than 2yrs without someone living with us that needs help

That's the way to be. Good to know there are people out there like Fuzo. There are so many that quickly make the opposite decision. The (do nothing) people. Think of all the folks that kept driving.
I doubt I have to tell ya, butcha gotta damn good man there.

I always try and help people out. I think what goes around comes around, and there have been times people have really helped me out when I was least expecting it.

Hey Baby very awesome story but when i was reading i was getting chills once you said "gas pouring out". That was a very brave thing to do and I'm sure at that time Fuzo did not think twice about helping. It's scary though when adrenalin kicks in and your focused on saving another and that sit. However, its another thing that, when you do this, you can put yourself in harms way.
