I work part time at an auto parts store, and today while I was working a punk kid came in with a riced out Volkswagon GTI, and he parked in the handicapped spot. When the kid came in I questioned him about taking that spot, and I asked him if he had the right ID to park there. He brushed me off and said "I'm only gonna be a minute, man, chill out!" Ohhhhh kayyyyyy, I figured it would only take a minute to call the cops, most of whom I'm friends with. One of my buddies happened to be on duty, and he rolled in quite quickly. He came in the store and b.s.'d with me for a minute. Then he asked me where the guy was that parked in that spot. By this time the kid was coming up to the counter, and my buddy called him out. The kid have a lame excuse about not being in the store very long, and my buddy def didn't buy it. Then he pointed out there were many other spots available in the lot. And to cap it off, the kid got a nice, fat $250 ticket for being a lazy clown. He gave me the stink eye as he was leaving, but I'm glad he got busted. I hate when f'n people pull shit like that, especially when they are more than able to walk the extra 20 feet if they park where they belong.

you know what bugs me. When some jackass sits and waits while someone puts their groceries in the car just to park 50ft closer. Brilliant minds at work. I like to pull around them, park my truck out by itself, then wave at 'em as I walk towards the store entrance. As they still wait to park.
It's especially stupid on a nice day. Nothing wrong with a little stroll on a beautiful day.

You did the right thing. I always say something if I see a person parked in the spot and theres nothing wrong with them.
