The reason he won't change his policies is because he is guided by his principles and morals. That is the way they all should be but they aren't. Ron Paul is a good man who believes in the Constitution to a tee. If you support our Constitution he is the man to support. My brother has been a lifelong Republican and never thought much of Ron Paul until I turned him onto a video clip of him. Now my brother has read up on Paul and listened to a lot of his speeches and read a book of his which has led him to be a Ron Paul supporter. My brother teaches econ and agrees with Paul so much that he is incorporating Paul's economics work in his classes. You should read up on him and watch some videos of him and perhaps you will see why so many people are supporting him. The man is in line with true Republican values, for instance he is pro-life, supports term limits, favors smaller government, lower taxes, does not believe in the pension plan for those in Congress and the Senate, he has donated a portion of his paycheck to paying down the national debt his entire career in office, he opted out of the pension plan, he is an MD and spent most of his years in Congress still delivering babies 2 days a week, he is an Austrian economics supporter, he opposes the IRS and wants to abandon it, opposes the Fed and wants to abandon it, opposes government education and wants to abandon it, etc.
I don't think he will have as tough of a time with the left wing media as many believe, but instead it will be his own party and the Fox news channel that will not support him, strange isn't it. He has a lot of hippies and leftys who support him because of his opposition to the war and his views on marijuana (legalize it). The last two are the ones that give most Republicans a hard time supporting him. He is quite possibly the only good person left in politics and cannot be corrupted apparently as he has not been yet and is in his 70s. He would be another Reagan but better because he would reduce spending. Don't get me wrong, I liked Reagan, but Paul would go above and beyond what Reagan accomplished. In addition to all of this, Ron Paul is a brilliant man with a great understanding of history. He knows his history so well that no other candidate could debate with him on the subject, no way in hell.
If Paul were does not become the front runner then I guess Mitt Romney is the next best choice, or of course Bobby Jindal of Louisiana.

imho, he has made a big gaff choosing health care reform over financial reform as a priority, if it had been me, i would have done finance first, and with that win, moved onto health care and the budget issues, with longer term plans, rather than the jam job going on
see, the problem i have is i don't see the same FACTS he does, and what can and can't be done for xyz reason, so i will reserve jumping on a pulpit cause it's factual i don't know why he decided what he did, right now i don't think it was the right decision, so, we shall see how the atheletic event unfolds, present score a tie in the first quarter with weird momentum on both sides, and players on both sides look out of sync
