Going to Cozumel and Progresso in a few months...what are some tips on things to buy, do, etc.
...Also is it possible to stick to my diet and training because I see there is a gym onboard and there is food available 24/7 so I figure this wont be an issue..
What cruise line are you taking? I have several tips depending on who you are cruising with...
"God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change...Courage and Strength to change the things I can...And Wisdom to know the difference."
How long and with what lines? I believe you can stay somewhat within your diet means, but after al it is a vacation!! some lines offer healthy options as far as meals are concerned because of the wide range of people cruising. (I would just set that aside and have some fun!!)
Bring lots of $$$ period!! LOL Nothing really cheap about cruises!
Take your formal attire, you can really dressed out, which is fun for us girls! But you might want to hide your check book pre-cruise!! LOL Getting ready is almost more expensive then going!! LOL Lots and lots of sunscreen!! I have to say even though I had sunscreen on when I cruised the south pacific, I still got a major burn the first few days, but I have to say I have never, ever had a tan so awesome as the color I turned from the difference in the sun down there!
Make sure you have travelers checks, and a good place to hide them.
My wife and I went to Bermuda out of NYC for our 10 yr anniversary. Both of us like to throw back a few and it got a little out of hand. You know, you run a tab and unless your keeping track you can get surprised as we did. Fell off my chair at $1,300, just for booze. Tough to get an all you can drink on a cruise unless your in a large party
