  • ugh...bath & cut for dog

Time to give the dog a bath and a haircut. He's our little terrier. He has hair instead of fur, so it has to be cut ever so often. But, plus side, he doesn't shed.
But damn...he overdue for it. I'm ashamed. If I walked into someone's house and saw their terrier looking this rough, I'd be thinking, 'damn, they neglectin that lil mut.

This is a good time for a good before and after. I'll post 'em once complete.

yeah...sad thing is. I'd been mentioning it for a good month. He need a haicut about once a month or 2, and a bath at least twice a month.
Poor little man had matted up dreds. He's all happy again now though. He loves after his bath. He doesn't like getting one, too much. What really did it for me yesterday, is he started asking for a bath. He would get back buy my bedroom and bark. and that's exactly why he was doing that.

This is a new record for these 2. They've never shared a space, much less the couch. Whoever is on the couch is usually king shyt, and the other one's jealous. I had to get a pic.

Thank you. He's all handsom again.

                  I'll take a pass on the Rot.lol...

My terrier's haricuts take some time. His hair is so fine. Ya gotta have good scissors or it'll slide out of 'em like how a rope will do sometimes. know what I mean.
It's something else though. This little dog requires so much more maintenance than any big dog I have, or have had in the past. He has skin alergies. His ears have to be cleaned. His breath is bad. He gets so much more dirty, and so easily. Our Bulldog, for instance, hasn't had a bath in a couple months and he's good to go. I just have to trim his claws every other week and he's good all set.
Low maintenance. and that's nice. but I love my terrier. Cpt. Morgan. He's my little man. He's my first small breed ever, and his personality is unique. He's his own man, for sure. That's a smart little guy. He's a good boy. had his 11th birthday last Oct. Grumpy old man. He's the best.

man...I just looked at the before again. I feel like shyt about that. That poor little fella felt horrible, I bet. That was pitiful. I can't believe I let him get like that.
                    Never again.
